I offer writing / coaching services where I will read your book, offer suggestions and help you edit it for a small fee.
If I think your book has potential I'll help you publish your book. What that really means is I'll agree to buy a large number of copies at a fixed price that will underwrite the costs of publishing the book.
I can also help you sell the book. Either throught my webpage or at book signings in the San Jose / San Francisico Bay Area.
Why you should pay for editing of your book
It's easy to write a book. Get a spiral notebook, a pencil and start at page one. Keep writing until you've finished. That part is easy but you won't know if it makes sense until someone else reads it.
Unfortunately if your loved one reads it they may not be honest about it.
one, if they love you they may not tell you the problems w/ the book
two, if they don't love you they may nit pick you to tears
So getting a stranger to read your book is worth the effort. I can look at it objectively. If there is any merit in the book I will want you to improve it so I can help you sell it.
I have met some Latinos that have very interesting lives that would make great books but these people don't think they can write a book.
Remember if you want your children to read good books you have to make good books available. So write one!
